About Me
I’m a mom of 3, Kinesiology professor, and fitness professional with over a decade of experience educating students and helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
Credentials
I have an Ed.D in Kinesiology and a MPH in Epidemiology. I am certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist and Group Exercise Instructor. I also hold certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (The Biomechanics Method) and as a Mobility Specialist (The Ready State).
My Goal
Each week, I break down the latest fitness research, share practical tips, and provide actionable guidelines to help you build healthier habits and achieve your wellness goals.
Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or looking to improve your knowledge, this newsletter is your go-to resource for realistic and sustainable fitness strategies rooted in science.
My work is free. I believe that sound, evidence-based content shouldn’t live behind a paywall.
What you Get
Each Friday, I dive deeper into a fitness topic, explore an emerging trend, or answer an exercise-related question, all backed with research. Occasionally, I’ll share a bit of self-reflection and give some behind the scenes insight into the work I do in the industry.
